Boom beyond repair, or manufactured so as not to meet specifications, is dismantled and the parts recycled. Reusing parts for patching and replacing hard-to-find parts considerably reduced the time of repair and redeployment.

Once cleaned, boom was loaded in trucks and transferred to the Patriot Boom Repair/Recycle facility or staged for future deployment.

Containment boom arrived on boats, in containers and on trucks. Boom deployed from Louisiana to Florida had to be inspected, cleaned and documented prior to redeployment.

Unique products brought in from around the world to assist in cleanup efforts were eventually handled in Patriot's Theodore site for decontamination. After inspection these assets were prepared for return shipping to their origin.
